The Future
What is the future of the IIS&R/COLIS research?
- Further exploration of standards functionality from 2003 vendor substitutions;
- New technical areas for development;
- Inclusion of a Learning Activity Management System (LAMS) in COLIS 2004;
- A Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) trial;
- Further educational research projects, for example work on:
- Searching and metadata standards
- Digital rights
- Reuse of learning objects across various educational sectors
- Management of personnel and educational cultures
- Learner perceptions of these systems.

Can I buy a COLIS?
